I can confirm this ram runs at the full 1600mhz in a newly purchased Dell XPS 8500 w/ i7-3770.

Some DDR3-12800 1600mhz ram at CL9/10 will only run at 1333mhz. This has prompted many recommendations to purchase the more expensive CL11 basic value ram from Crucial or Kingston.

On my XPS 8500:

Rev A10 bios reports 1600mhz.

CPU-Z reports 800mhz (x2) with timings of 9-9-9-24.

Also Sisoft Sandra memory benchmarks are higher with this ram than the OEM Samsung @ 1600mhz CL11.

Definitely recommended for the XPS 8500.
